What is Community Acupuncture?
We are a community acupuncture clinic. This means that people receive treatment in a group setting, in a large common room on either recliners or treatment tables. This allows us to make treatments more affordable and accessible to more people. A community setting makes it easy for friends and family to come in together. Many people find this comforting and when a collective energetic field is established it makes individual treatments even more powerful.
How to Prepare for Your First Visit
Please wear loose fitting clothes and turn off your cell phones before entering the clinic space. Make sure to empty your bladder and fill you tummy before each treatment. The soothing atmosphere in the clinic exists because the patients create it by speaking in whispers, respecting one-another’s space and things and coming to the clinic with healing intentions.
New patient paperwork can be downloaded, printed and completed at home by clinking on the DOWNLOAD on the LEFT of the page. Otherwise, please arrive 20 minutes early to fill out the paperwork at the clinic before your scheduled appointment time.
